Yukon

September 15: Last night we worked late on getting journals and blog caught up. Thus, we got a late start this morning. Had to get gas and go to the Supercenter Store for groceries and to get cash back at the checkout. Good groceries and wonderful bread., but only 2 checkers so we had a half hour wait in line only to find out that you cannot get cash back on a visa debit card in Canada. It has something to do with the banking regulations. We then went to Walmart (not a super center) and the customer service lady told me to buy something and then come to her for a refund in Canadian money and then pay for the items with US money and she could give me the change in Canadian.

This is a drive day as will be the next several until we get out of Canada. Realized we are running out of time if we want to be home by October 3rd. and still go to Yellowstone and thru Denver. Stopped for the evening at Big Creek Campground in the Yukon and again nice sites and free firewood.. Only 2 other campers here, we camped by the river. Most campgrounds have some form of water, stream, pond or lake. If not that, then a great view.
